As we reach the midpoint of the year, it’s a good moment to step back and reflect on what we’ve built so far - and where we’re heading next.
2025 began with bold intentions for Pack. Our goal was clear: to continue cementing our place as Germany’s go-to SaaS sales recruitment partner - trusted by ambitious founders, revenue and talent leaders, and world-class sales talent alike.
Six months in, and I’m happy to say that we’ve made significant progress. And more importantly, we’ve done it in a way that stays true to our ethos: fast, focused, local, and quality-obsessed.
We began the year as a team of two. Today, we’re four - a close-knit unit with sharp edges and a shared mission. We also moved into our first proper office space: a new home for the Pack, and a clear signal of our intention to scale.
Doubling in size might sound modest, but for us, every hire is strategic and absolutely critical. As a proudly bootstrapped business, we don’t grow for the sake of headcount. We grow when it strengthens our ability to deliver for clients and candidates.
In H1, we signed 10 new clients - a mix of venture-backed scale-ups, high-growth SaaS challengers, and established global players. 10 might again sound modest to some, but we don’t want to work with just anyone. We want to work with clients we can really help. It’s also why we turned away a lot of business.
Seven of those businesses made their first hire with us within the same period - a strong vote of confidence in both our delivery and our process.
Among the highlights:
✅ We made our first placements with a global Tech Unicorn, and signed our first FTSE 250 client.
✅ We recorded 11 placements in total, across Account Executive, SDR, Post-Sales, and leadership roles.
✅ We set a new record for our fastest-ever placement: just 8 days from brief to signed contract.
✅ We delivered back-to-back six-figure quarters, driven not by volume, but by high-value outcomes.
✅ At least two clients found us via ChatGPT referrals, which, while unexpected, shows the impact of our digital footprint.
Each client win matters - not just commercially, but because of the relationships we’re building behind the scenes. We’re not in the business of making quick, one-off placements. We’re helping to shape GTM teams in one of Europe’s most competitive hiring markets.
As of June 2025, we’ve received nine new 5-star Trustpilot reviews from both clients and candidates. That feedback matters - not just as social proof, but because it tells us we’re building the kind of recruitment experience that people remember for the right reasons.
We’ve invested heavily in how we brief candidates, how we prep and debrief at each stage, and how we communicate throughout the process. In a market full of noise, that laser focus on our levels of care is something that will set us apart in the years ahead.
Hiring in 2025 hasn’t been straightforward. Many businesses are cautious. Decision cycles are slower. And top candidates are more risk-aware than ever.
But there is opportunity. For the companies who are clear on their value proposition and decisive in their hiring. What we’ve seen is that ambition to scale in Germany hasn’t disappeared. It’s just been harder for many businesses to realise.
We’ve been helping our clients tell a sharper hiring story when it comes to their plans in Germany. One that cuts through market hesitations and speaks directly to the kind of candidates they actually want. One that, ultimately, leads to great hires.
As of writing this article, I’m delighted to say that we have already broken one record set in H1. Our fastest placement now stands at 7 days. And I’m also delighted to say that of the 3 new clients we hadn’t yet made placements with, we have job offers out from two of them!
Looking ahead to the second half of the year, our priorities are clear:
Deepen our client relationships
Refine and scale our delivery engine
Grow the Pack - carefully and with excellent people
Continue raising the bar for candidate experience

My overall feeling reflecting on H1 is of overwhelming gratitude.
To every client who’s trusted us with a critical hire so far this year: thank you. To every candidate who’s taken the leap into a new opportunity: we appreciate your trust. And to our growing network of referrers, supporters, and collaborators: you’re helping build something special.
We’ve still got a long way to go. But the direction is clear. And the ambition hasn’t changed.
